Marc Woffenden
Head Brewer / Founder

Marc brewed his first beer on a homebrew kit he received as a Christmas present. After the first taste of that simple stout, he fell in love with creating and drinking beer. He continued to homebrew and read every book about brewing he could find. Next on the agenda was attending a brewing school. Marc studied Intensive Brewing Science and Engineering at American Brewer’s Guild in Middlebury, VT and graduated in July of 2012. After returning to Austin, he began to dream of owning a brewery. He somehow convinced his wife it was a good idea and Two Wheel Brewing Company was born.


Dennis Howell

Recently relocated to the Heart of Texas from the Catskill Mountains of Upstate New York, Dennis has been involved in the craft brewing industry for more than four years. He attained professional status in 2013 when he became an Assistant Brewer at Cave Mountain Brewing Company in Windham, New York, where he learned to brew a variety of beers on Cave Mountain Brewing’s one-barrel system. When he decided to pursue a career as a brewmaster, Dennis applied to the American Brewers Guild Brewing School in Middlebury, Vermont. He received his certification from the Craft Brewers Apprenticeship program in June 2016, after which he completed an apprenticeship at C. H. Evans Brewing Company at the Albany Pump Station in Albany, New York. Prior to relocating to Buda, Dennis served as Cave Mountain Brewing Company’s head brewer from August 2014 through November 2016.

Douglas Korte
Finance dude

After working for over 40 years in the technology field, his latest position being Senior Director of Technology for a Fortune 250 company, Doug was lured out of early retirement to help keep track of the business for Two Wheel Brewing. He earned his MBA in Management from the University of Texas at San Antonio after graduating with a bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Information Systems. Among his many responsibilities will be quality testing…yes, that means tasting the beer. Over and Over.
