Don't Call Me Wit
New beer release! We only brewed up one barrel of this tasty Belgian Witbier, so try this for yourself before we run out!
We put a new world spin on a summer classic. Traditional Belgian Witbiers are made with classic german malts and hops, with other adjuncts such as orange peel, coriander seed, and chamomile. Fermented with a belgian yeast strain, the peppery yeast flavors blend in perfectly with the spices, and the fruity esthers work wonderfully with orange peel. We're taking this beer and turning it on it's head by using late-addition new world hops in the whirlpool and dry hop only, with no bittering additions. Equal parts of Huell Melon and Mandarina Bavaria hops will be used in the whirlpool and TWO dry hop additions to add an entirely new dimension to this style. This is the quintessence of small batch experimental brewing, and we're excited to see how this one turns out.
